Små glädjeämnen

Ibland kan en dag kännas väldig lång, kall och trist. Igår var en sån dag då jag tyckte hela dagen var trist och undrade vad det var för mening med att bo här i kalla, mörka Sverige. Tänkte gå på bio med en kompis, som avbokade ... så det slutade med att jag åkte hem och tänkte gå och lägga mig och tycka ännu mer synd om mig själv.

Då träffar jag grannen med nya hundvalpen. Jättesöt! Sen får jag låna tre musikvideos och bl.a. så var det Katie Melua's samlings-dvd. Jag lyssnade på konserten och som alltid berörde hennes musik mig något otroligt. Det finns ingen annan artist som har berört mig så som Katie's musik gör. Tårarna föll när jag lyssnade till orden i "If You were a Sailboat"

Om vi håller oss vakna för livets små glädjeämnen, behöver vi inte leta efter dom. De kommer till oss när vi bäst behöver dom. Små söta hundar, bra musik, vänliga grannar, ett uppmuntrande mail osv. Men ibland får man kanske vänta några timmar...

I augusti planerar jag att åka på Katie's konsert i Danmark. Den som vill hänga med är välkommen att höra av sig!
